The Best Fall Nail Polishes

Today's blog is about fall nail polish colors. These are the colors that I tend to use during the fall time the most. Of course everyone has a right to their own opinion so these may not be the right ones for you and they definitely are not the only colors that you can wear in the fall. I hope you enjoy this blog and try out some of these awesome shades if you don't already wear them.

I love black nails anytime of the year but I  definitely wear it more in the fall and winter time. My go to black nail polish is NYC Long Wearing in 119 Black Creme Lace. I also love deep reds in the fall and winter and the ones that I use the most are Urban Outfitters Cherry Grenadine and Revlon 721 Raven Red.

I love dark purples and dark blues during the colder months and my number one shades are Milani 26 Rapid Orchid and Essie Aruba Blue. Also the only time I really wear greens except for mints or neons is during the winter and fall time and for that I like Nicole by O.P.I. Khloe Had A Little Lam Lam.

The only time I wear orange shades is usually in the fall time, mostly around Halloween. I love Revlon 440 Siren. It is the perfect orange. If you aren't into orange shades I also recommend Revlon 640 Fearless. It's an orangey red color and really pretty for the fall.

I'm also throwing in some glitter shades. I like to use glitter on an accent nail when I feel like being a little more sophisticated. Lol! For the fall time I like darker glitters and gold. I just think that gold is such a good fall color.  The glitter polishes I tend to use the most are Revlon 732 Rebel Graffiti, Nicole by O.P.I. Carrie'd Away which is from the Carrie Underwood collection and Sally Hansen Triple Shine 390 Sparks Fly. I like to glitter polish over white polish so sometimes I use white as an accent nail color.

These are not the only nail polishes that I use in the fall but they are the ones that I tend to grab for the most. Definitely let me know in the comments or on Instagram what your favorite nail polishes are for the fall.

IPSY Unbagging

Todays blog is my IPSY Unbagging. IPSY is a monthly subscription service that costs $10 a month. You get 4 to 5 sample or full size products ranging from make up to skin care to hair. It also all comes in a make up bag. Definitely check out their website at ipsy.com if you are interested. This is what I got in my September IPSY bag...

The theme for this month is Face Fashion.

This is this months make up bag. It's a pretty gold color, perfect for the fall. The back and top is smooth and the front has a raised zig zag pattern. I am using this as my wallet at the moment.

The first product is the Glam Glow Flashmud Brightening Treatment. It's a .5oz. sample size. I love face masks and I have been wanting to try Glam Glow so I am very excited for this product. Look for a review coming soon.

This is the Octavio Argan Oil. It's a 1 fl. oz. sample size. This is for your hair. The last 6 months or so I have really been obsessed with hair care so I can not wait to try this product out.

This is the Trestique Mini Matte Lip Crayon in Nantucket Nude. This is also a sample size. I would have liked to have gotten this in the full size though because I think the packaging is so adorable. It looks like the cover is missing at first glance but that is the lid. I love that this lip crayon is in a nude color and not the reds that I have been getting.

This is the Pixi by Petra Mini Brow Trio in Shades Of Brow. I don't do anything with my brows but they are so light that it doesn't look like I have any so I thought about giving this product a try. I swatched it and was disappointed because the pigmentation isn't that great. I don't know anything about brow products so maybe the colors are supposed to be on the lighter side. I will have to look it up.

This is Evelynona Natural and Organic Cream Blush in Ash. I believe that's what it is. The writing is on the bottom and is really small so I can't read it very well. This is a product that I didn't swatch or anything because I know that I won't use it. I'm going to probably put it up for a future giveaway or something.

These are swatches for the eyebrow trio. The light color is on the top and you can't really even see it and the other two darker colors are on the light side. I don't know if this is normal for brow products but I will do some research before I decide if the product is worth using or not.

This is a swatch of the lip crayon. It's a really pretty nude and I am excited to try it out.

So that's my September IPSY bag. I liked this one more than my previous two bags so hopefully they will just keep getting better and better.

Thanks for reading :)

XOXO Lola

P.S. If you don't already get IPSY I really recommend trying it out. It's not too expensive and you can try the products out before you go out and spend the money on something you don't like.

Love With Food September Unboxing

Today's blog is my unboxing of the September Love With Food Subscription Box. I love this box because for every box you buy they send a meal to a hungry child. I get the Tasting box for $12 a month but they have a Deluxe Box and a Gluten Free box for a little bit more a month. In each box you also get a pamphlet telling you about the products and whether they are Vegan, Gluten Free, etc. I really loved this months box!

These are all the snacks that came in this months box. Below I will tell you what they are and I will rate their goodness from 1 to 10.

Cookie Thins by Mrs. Thinster's in Cake Batter. OMG these taste EXACTLY like cake batter. they are so delicious! 10 out of 10

Snapea Crisps by Harvest Snaps. These are lightly salted. I have been wanting to try these so I was very excited when I saw that they were in this months box. These are so good. They don't taste like peas to me, they kind of taste like salted puff corn. 9 out of 10

Cheddar N' Stuff Super Crackers by Funley's Delicious. These cheddar crackers also have broccoli in them. When I first saw that I thought it was a little weird to have broccoli in a cracker but these are very good. The best part is that if you have or know any kids that won't eat vegetables, you can't even tell that broccoli is in these so they are a good and healthy snack and they don't even have to know it! 8 out of 10

Gluten Free Original Mini Pretzel Crisps by Snack Factory. These are lot better than I thought they were going to be. I have tried a couple of Gluten Free crackers and I just didn't like them but these are actually surprisingly good. 7 out of 10

Sea Salt Caramel Apple Granola by Bear Naked. This is amazing. I think it's good plain. It would be good with milk or in yogurt. It's a fun and healthy snack and you can take it anywhere. 9 out of 10

Fruit Snacks by Yumearth Organics. These are Banana, Cherry, Peach and Strawberry. I love fruit snacks and these are just as good as any others that I have tried. 9 out of 10

Mini Peanut Butter Clutter by Jimmybar. This reminds me a lot of the Cliff Bars. It was really tasty and definitely something that I would take with me on hikes and runs to keep my energy up. 8 out of 10

Adult Complete Vitamin Pack by Smartypants. You get two vitamin gummies. I think this was a cool idea. I am so bad at taking vitamins but in gummy form I can try again!!! 8 out of 10

This months theme was Smarty Pants. We got a coupon for $1 off any one bag of Cookie Thins. We also got a coupon for $off a bag of the Pretzel Crisps. This month Love With Food is partnering with Schoola. We got a plastic bag with the purpose that we put our gently used women's and kid's clothes in it, write the name of a school we would like to donate to and then put it in the mail. This helps raise money for schools because for every $5 spent at Schoola, $2 goes to schools to fund art, music, gym, etc.

Even if you don't get Love With Food, definitely check out the website at Schoola.com, buy some clothes for yourself and give money back to schools to help kids! It is such a great cause.

Project 10 Pan Finale! (9/12/15)

Today is my Project 10 Pan Finale blog. I stopped using the products on September 12th but then I got so busy I haven't had time to do a blog post until now.

First, I want to mention something that I forgot to say in the Intro to my Project Pan in July. You can choose as many products as you would like and then just pick a number of items that you want to use up. For instance, you can choose 18 products but say that you want to choose 10 to finish up in your given time frame.

For this Project Pan I choose 10 items to use up and then replaced the products I had finished up when I did my update in August. This was my first Project Pan and I didn't want to feel overwhelmed by a bunch of products.

So here is my Project 10 Pan Finale...

These are the products that I finished using since my update in August...

~ e.l.f. Mineral Mist
~ Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea Travel Size Body Mist
~ Olive Oil Leave-In Conditioner
~ Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara
~ Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
~ Especially Escada Delicate Notes Sample Perfume
~ Lady GAGA Fame Sample Perfume
~ One Direction You & I Sample Perfume

These are the products that I didn't finish up...

~ Boscia Make Up Break Up Cleansing Oil. I was doing good using this up and then I had to go away for a few days and when I came back I left it in my hotel room. The people there were so nice though and ended up sending it to my house for me. I am going to finish this up before it goes into my empties bag because it was on the expensive side, at least in my opinion.

~ Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Sleep Lotion in Lavender Vanilla. I used these a few times during my two month Project Pan. I just don't like how greasy it leaves my hands felling. I am just going to put this in my empties bag and call it done!

The picture above is all of the products that I used up during this Project 10 Pan. I used up 10 products!

Side Note: The Bath & Body Works Strawberry Sorbet 3 Wick Candle and the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads I used up by the time I did my update blog in August.

If any of you want to do a Project Pan either as a blog or on YouTube I definitely recommend checking out Ashley Elizabeth on YouTube. She does some really good Project Pans and it's where I got the idea to do mine.

To conclude my Project 10 Pan, I am going to say that I had a lot of fun using up products. I always feel like I can't use up products fast enough before they go bad and I have to throw them out. This way I can use up products without wasting money and I will be able to use newer products that I have been wanting to try but haven't because I have so many others to use. I also plan on doing another one before the year is out.

Skoshbox Unboxing

Todays blog is going to be my unboxing of the skoshbox. This is a monthly subscription of Japanese snacks and candy. The cost is $12 a month.

These are all of the snacks that I got in the September box. Below I have close up pictures and a description of each. I also rate them based on my liking.

Coconut Sable. This is a buttery coconut cookie. I really loved these and as I have said before I do not like coconut but these don't taste like that at all. I think they taste a lot like those butter cookies that come in a round tin during Christmas time. 10 out of 10!

Koala's March. These are like little cookies with Chocolate or Strawberry filling. I got the Strawberry ones and they were delicious. I also love that they have little Koalas on them. 10 out of 10!

Youzu Honey Hard Candy. These are honey flavored candies. These were pretty good and I got two of them in the box. 8 out of 10!

Line Drops Candy. These are hard candies that come in Apple or Pineapple. I don't like either flavor but I got the Pineapple ones and tried them. They were ok but nothing that I would reorder. 6 out of 10!

Wasabi Endo Mix. These are like bean crackers that come in Wasabi Bean of Wasabi Senbei. I think I got the Wasabi Bean. I like spicy things but I didn't like these at all. I think maybe I just don't like Wasabi. 4 out of 10!

Raisin Sandwich. These are two soft cookies with raisin in the middle. I don't like raisin but I gave these a try. They were ok but nothing that I would buy. Two of these were in the box. 6 out of 10!

Umaibo Premium. This is Mozzarella and Camembert Cheese Sticks. I think it is like an extra large and straight Cheeto. This was also very good. 8 out of 10!

Jagabee Butter Shoyu. These are crispy fries with butter and soy sauce. These were not the best either. I liked them better than the wasabi beans but still nothing that I would buy. 4 out of 10!

So that is my September Skoshbox unboxing. For the most part I loved the box the Koala cookies and Coconut cookies were my favorite. I recommend this box for anyone that wasn't to try Japanese snacks and candy. When I first got the box I saw how small it was and thought what did I spend my money on? but when I opened it I was very surprised by the amount of snacks that were in the box and in my opinion, this box is worth the $12. I can't wait until next month!

August Favorites!

These are the things that I have been loving for the month of August...

BODY:

I have been loving the Bath & Body Works Cool Melon Kiwi body spray. Since I finished all the fragrances from my Project Pan this is all I have been using.

NAILS:

This is the first month that I haven't had multiple nail polish favorites. I decided in August to give my nails a break and I only used the Miracle Nail from my local Dollar Tree.

CANDLES:

I have been loving the Paris Amour 3 Wick Candle from Bath & Body Works. It fills the whole room while its burning and it smells amazing.

FOOD:

I loved all of the goodies that I received in the August Love With Food box. I did a blog post unboxing the box if you are interested in checking that out for more details.

I also really enjoyed the August Candy Club box. My previous blog post is the unboxing so check that out if you want more information.

MOVIES/SHOWS:

I have been watching The Golden Girls on DVD non stop for the past month. I am currently on season seven and I am obsessed. I have loved this show for so long and it's one of those shows that I can watch over and over again and never get sick of it.

I also finally got around to watching Insurgent and The Longest Ride. They were such good movies. I love anything by Nicholas Sparks so The Longest Ride was definitely an A+ for me. I think that I like Insurgent even more than Divergent and I usually don't like sequels as much as the originals. I recommend both of these movies.

OTHER:

I have also been enjoying my Project 10 Pan. I have used up many products and I am excited to be blogging the finale in the next couple of weeks.

I also really liked the Ipsy Glam Bag for the month of August. I am currently using this as my wallet.

Those are my favorites for August.

Candy Club August Unboxing

In todays blog I am doing an unboxing for the August Candy Club Monthly subscription box. It is $27.99 a month but goes down if you buy a 6 month or 1 year subscription. I got a special promo and only spent $13.99. Although the candy is very good, I cancelled the subscription because all of the candy that came in the box is candy that I could go and get at my local drug store or grocery store.

You get three tubs of candy and then some candy pieces sprinkled around the box.

These are the Allan Ju Ju Jube Coins. These are Cherry flavored. They taste just like Swedish fish so they are something that you can get just about anywhere that sells candy.

These are the Sweet's Lemonade Rings. They are Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade and Pink Lemonade flavored. These are good but like the previous candy you can get these almost anywhere. They remind me of the orange or watermelon sour slices you can get.

These are the Jelly Belly Soda Pop Mix Jelly Beans. They come in the flavors 7UP, A & W Root Beer, A & W Cream Soda, Dr. Pepper, Orange Crush and Grape Crush. Each jelly bean tastes exactly like the soda it's suppose to be. These are so good and by far my favorite in the box but again something you buy from a store.

These are the Primrose Assorted Lemonade Drops. They come in Blue Raspberry Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Peach Lemonade, Pink Lemonade and Lemonade. These are ok. They aren't anything special and you can buy all kinds of hard candy in the store.

So that's what I got in the August Candy Club box. Like I said the candy is really good but it's not worth the money a month when I can get it at a local store for a lot less money. But definitely try it out if you have the extra cash on hand and it's something you are interested in. I don't regret trying it out regardless of the outcome.
