Pamper Routine

Today's Blog is my Pamper Routine. I try to do this twice a week usually on Wednesday and Sunday. Enjoy!...

1. Shorts and Tank ~ I always wear a pair of my plaid shorts and a tank top because they are very light and comfortable, especially during the summer months.

2. Face Mask ~ I do this twice a week anyway so I usually make those days my pamper days as well.

3. Candle ~ I always burn a candle. This one is the Cinnamon Sugared Donut from Bath & Body Works.

4. Kindle or IPOD ~ I usually either read or listen to music when I pamper myself depending on what I am in the mood for on that day.

5. Lip Exfoliator ~ I also do this on my pamper days as well.

6. Tea ~ I always have a cup of tea. My favorite is Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast Black Tea.

7. Lotion ~ I also use my First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream on my pamper days. I only use this twice a week because it is so expensive I like to make it last as long as possible.

8. Nails ~ I do my nails once a week and when I do them I always file them, use cuticle oil, a nail treatment like a strengthener and then I use a base coat, nail polish and finish it off with a top coat.

That's my pamper routine.

Updated Skin Care Routine

Today's Blog is going to be my updated skin care routine. These are the products that I currently love and have been using all of the time. Some are the same as my last skin care routine blog and others are different.

1.Revlon Face Brush ~ I have been loving this face cleansing brush system and I use it 5 days a week.

2. Face Cleanser ~ I use a face cleanser twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed at night. I am currently using the Olay foaming cleanser and I like it but I do like the Simple foaming cleanser just a little bit better.

3. Moisturizer ~ I moisturize my face every morning and night and the Simple Rich Moisturizer is by far my favorite so far.

4. Face Mask~ I do a face mask twice a week. This one is the Pomegranate one but I use all kinds.

5. Nivea Lip Balm ~ During the spring and summer I like to use Nivea lip balms and others like it. They keep my lips hydrated during the hot months. I use either the stick balm or the lip butter depending on the night and what I feel like using.

6. Spot Treatment ~ I have been trying a spot treatment recently for small breakouts. I'm currently using the Olay Fresh Effects Spot Zinger. I'm liking it so far. I'm going to do a product review on this after I use it a little longer so I'm not going to say too much about it.

7. Lip Exfoliator ~ I use this once or twice a week. This is the e.l.f. one but I am also looking into some other brands to try out as well. I really like this one though. I put it on my lips wait a couple of minutes and then wash it off in the shower.

So that's my current updated skin care routine. I hope you liked it.

Bath & Body Works Summer Haul

I recently went to Bath & Body Works to get some of their new products. Here is what I got...

I went into the store because I really wanted to get one of the Fragrance Mists with the straw and also to check out their new hand sanitizers in the new packaging.

My favorite new scent was the Cool Melon Kiwi. I thought it was going to be just a repackaging of Cucumber Melon but it's not. You definitely get more of a Kiwi scent in this one.

I got the 5 for $6 PocketBacs. I got Honeydew Cooler, French Kiss which is Berry, Meet Me in Paris which is Raspberry Sugar, OOH LA LA which is French Blooms, and Jawesome which is Sea Breeze. I also just had to get a new PocketBac holder. They had some for 50 Cents but I fell in love with this little pink purse with the gold strap. It was $5.50.

I got this Paris Amour Shower Gel for free for using a coupon and spending $10.

By the way the full size Fragrance Sprays for the new collection were only $7. When I left the store I was wishing that I had gotten the other two scents that I liked. When I got home I made an online purchase and got them!

I got Mango Tango Twist and Pink Lemonade Fizz. They also had two others that I didn't really like.

While I was at the store they also gave me another coupon and I used that online and got the Maui Mango Surf Shower Gel for free.

That's it for my Bath & Body Works Summer Haul. I also got a coupon for 20% off an online order good until November so I will be doing a fall B & BW Haul soon!!!

P.S. The Bath & Body Works Sale might still be going on when this is posted so go check it out if it is.

IPSY Unbagging

I am really excited for today's blog, it's my first Ipsy unbagging. I have been going back and forth about subscribing to Ipsy for a while now because some months I like the bags and other months I don't but I decided to just go for it and see what happens. So here is what I got in my July Ipsy bag...

The theme for this bag is Summer Lovin'...

This is the bag for July. It's a canvas type material and has different color zig zags. It's very cute and summery. I also love the blue zipper along the front.

These are the products I was the most excited about getting. I got the Crown double sided crease/shadow brush, Teeez Read My Lips Lipstick in Killing Me Softly and Jersey Shore Sun Mongongo Anti-Aging Lip Conditioner in Vanilla Coconut Cream.

These are the products that I was just OK with. I got the Bare Republic Natural Mineral Tinted Face Sunscreen and an OFRA Eyeshadow/Highlighter in Bliss. I wasn't happy with the eyeshadow packaging at all. I like the color but the shadow came in a cheap plastic package and the shadow was all over inside it. I would have like to see it in a package similar to the e.l.f. single shadows.

Here are swatches for the products. The lipstick is on top and the eyeshadow is on the bottom.

That was my July Ipsy bag. I hope you enjoyed it and I can't wait to see what the August bag brings. Feel free to let me know what you go in yours as well :)

Project 10 Pan (7/12/15)

This blog is different from any others that I have done. I am doing a Project 10 Pan. I got the idea from Ashley Elizabeth on YouTube. She has done them multiple times and I just think they are fun videos to watch and it's a good way to finish up products that are either getting old or you just don't use them as much anymore.
Basically Project Pan is when you choose a certain number of products you want to use up and put a time limit on it. I chose 10 products this time and I am giving myself two months to use them up. I will also be putting up an update blog at the one month mark as well to see where I am with each of the products.
I marked the places with a line and date to show where I was when I started on the products for the ones that you could see clearly where the products are.
I hope you enjoy this blog post and here are my Project 10 Pan products...

1. Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Sleep Lotion ~ I like the spray better so I just want to use the lotion up.

2. Bath & Body Works Strawberry Sorbet 3 Wick Candle ~ I have had this candle for a while now and I just want to use it up so I can start using some of my other candles.

3. Especially Escada Delicate Notes Perfume (on top of the candle) ~ I just want to use this little sample up.

4. Oliver Oil Leave In Conditioner ~ I have been using this product since March and I absolutely love it. I just want to try some other leave ins but I want to use this one up before I buy another one.

5. Boscia Make Up Break Up Cool Cleansing Oil ~ I don't like this as much as I used to so I just want to use it up.

6. e.l.f. Mineral Mist ~ I use this everyday and love it but its almost gone so I just put it in my pan to have another product.

7. Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea Travel Size Body Spray ~ I have the full size so I just want to use the little one up.

8. Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara ~ I love this mascara but its getting old and I want to use it up before I have to throw it out and waste product.

9. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ~ I am almost done with this but I have also had it for a while and want to use it up so none of it goes to waste as well.

10. First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads ~ I don't use these as much as I used to and honestly I don't like them as much anymore either so I am just going to use them up.

As you can tell the date on the bottles and the date of the blog don't match up. I wrote the blog a few days before I started the project on July 12, 2015 but then I saved it as a draft instead of scheduling it for the 12th and didn't realize it until today so I am posting the blog on the 18th but I started using the products on the 12th so the one month update will be posted on August 12th.

Thanks for reading :)

XOXO Lola

P.S. If anyone has Project Pan Videos on YouTube definitely let me know. I would love to see them. Also definitely let me know if you decide to blog or video a Project Pan in the future!

EOS Shaving Cream Review

Today's blog is going to be a review of the EOS Shaving Cream. I was so excited to use it because I am a big fan of the lip balm and lotion. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the shaving cream.
First off, the consistency is more like a lotion than a shaving cream. I prefer the foam.
Secondly, I feel like it doesn't give you as close of a shave as the foaming shaving cream does.
And the third and final thing I dislike about it is that it seems to get stuck in my razor quite a bit. I find that I have to clean it off using a washcloth or sponge instead of just rinsing the razor off in water.
Now, although I am not a fan of the EOS Shaving Cream and I will not be repurchasing it when I am done, I do like that it comes with a pump bottle because I feel like it keeps it cleaner and you don't have shaving cream all around the lid. I also love the smell. I got the Vanilla Bliss and it smells so good.
Everyone has their own opinions on things so feel free to try it out and let me know how you like it. I'm sure it will work for some people but for me personally, I am just not a fan.

Top 5 Skincare Products

These are my top 5 skincare products...

1. Face Cleanser. I wash my face in the morning and at night so face cleanser is definitely a must have for me. I usually am not picky about the kind as long as it's good for sensitive skin.

2. Mineral Mist. I got this for free with a purchase I made on the e.l.f. website and I love it. I am going to have to purchase it once I am out. I spray this on my face in the morning and I feel revitalized and fresh. It's also good to spray on your face when it's really hot out. It just gives you this cool relaxing feeling.

3. Moisturizer. I moisturize my face in the morning and at might as well. I am picky about this because my face is really sensitive and breaks out with a lot of products. So far I think the only moisturizers that I have tried and been able to use are the Simple Moisturizer and the Eucerin Moisturizer.

4. Face Masks. I love giving myself facial treatments a couple days a week. I usually buy the 2-4 use masks first to make sure that I don't break out and then I will buy the bigger size. I love this Cucumber one, it smells so good.

5. Spot Treatment. This is a new find. I have been breaking out around that time of the month and I hate it. I have been trying this Olay Spot Zinger and so far it seems to be doing a good job. I will do a full review on this product after I have used it for a little while longer just to make sure.

I also use the Revlon face cleanser brush and was going to include that but I thought the other five products were more important and sometimes to be honest I am too lazy to use my brush system so I sometimes skip that part. I have a full review on the Revlon Illuminate Cleaning System so check that out if you want to find out more.

Top 5 Nail Polish Brands

These are my top 5 nail polish brands...

1. NYC Long Wearing ~ Wine Bar. I have loved this brand for a long time. It's so cheap but such good quality. The formula is amazing and it doesn't chip right away. I also love the colors.

2, Revlon Parfumerie ~ Apricot Nectar. This is Revlon's scented nail polish and I am obsessed with it. It really does smell good after it has dried and the smell actually lasts a few days before wearing off even after showers and multiple hand washes a day.

3. Essie ~ Blossom Dandy. I think this is my favorite brand right now. I love everything about Essie polishes. I love the formula, the wear, the color shades and the names are all so cute.

4. China Glaze ~ Too Yacht Too Handle. I also really like this brand. At first I had a love/hate relationship with it because I always had to use three or four coats depending on the color and that is such a hassle but I really do love the shades so its so worth the extra one or two coats for me.

5. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel ~ Hydro Electric. I love having the Gel effect without having to go to the salon and the colors are very cute as well.

Top 5 Fragrances

These are my top 5 fragrances...

1. Bath & Body Works ~ Paris Amore

2. Bath & Body Works ~ Be Enchanted

3. Victoria's Secret ~ Mango Temptation

4. Jessica Simpson ~ I Fancy You

5. Taylor Swift ~ Taylor

I love these all year round. I usually don't care what the season is, if I want to wear it I will wear it. The two Bath & Body Works scents I have loved for so long and have repurchased them a couple of times and I think they are ok scents for year round wear.
The Mango Temptation is a very fruity scent and the perfect scent for spring and summer but I would probably wear it in the fall and winter if I was in the mood.
The two perfumes are my favorite from my perfume collection. The Jessica Simpson one is just very mature. It gives off the women's smell and not a teenage scent. It's really pretty and I love it.
I love all of Taylor's perfumes. My favorite is actually her newest one, Incredible Things but I have not been able to pick it up because it is always sold out. Taylor is my favorite of the first three though. I just love anything Taylor Swift. I am a major Swifty dork, but I have said that In many of my blogs!

Top 5 Lip Products

These are my top 5 lip products...

1. First Aid Beauty ~ Ultra Repair Lip Therapy. I love this when my lips are really dry. I put this on my lips before I go to bed and in the morning they feel so hydrated and smooth.

2. Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue ~ Soothing Sorbet. I love Baby Lips and have a new obsession with the Dr. Rescue line. I love the tingly sensation when you put it on your lips and I wear this all throughout the day.

3. e.l.f. Mineral Lip Tint ~ Pink. I love these from e.l.f because they are perfect for when you want a little color on your lips but you don't want to wear lipstick, or in my case when you don't wear lipstick on a regular basis.

4. e.l.f. Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick ~ In The Nude. I love these because they are a cheap alternative for the Chubby Sticks and they give your lips just the right amount of tint when you want a little extra.

5. Burt's Bees Lip Balm. This is my go to lip balm when I have any kind of issue with my lips. This is also perfect for cold sores as well. If I feel one coming on, I put this on and I never get a full blown cold sore. This stops it in it's tracks.

Top 5 Mascaras

The next several blog posts are going to be some of my top 5 favorite products. These are the products that I am currently loving or that I have been a long time fan of. I hope you all like them as well...

Todays top 5 products are mascaras. Enjoy!

1. Essence ~ I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara

2. CoverGirl ~ Flamed Up Mega Curl (Hunger Games Edition)

3. Maybelline ~ Great Lash

4. Rimmel London ~ Lash Accelerator

5. Maybelline ~ The Colossal Volum' Express Cat Eyes

I love all of these mascaras because they make my lashes long and dark which is what I look for when buying mascara. I don't get clumping and spider like lashes when using any of these as well.

June Favorites!

Here are my June Favorites for 2015...

BODY/LIPS:

I have been loving the Victoria's Secret body sprays in Aqua Kiss and Mango Temptation. They are the perfect summer scents for me right now. I love the Love & Sunshine Shower Gel from Bath & Body Works, I have been using it for all of June and the end of May and I am almost out. I love it. I have also been loving the Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Soothing Sorbet. I have been using it at night before bed and it gives you this tingling sensation on your lips and when you wake up in the morning your lips feel softer and just moisturized. I am really loving it,

NAILS:

I used Wet N Wild's Putting On Airs for about a week and a half and loved it. It didn't chip too fast and it went on smooth. I love this color for Spring/Summer. I also used Essie's No Place Like Chrome for about a week also. I have used it before and just love it. I also used it as an accent nail the first time I used my next favorite, Essie's Mint Candy Apple. I love this mint green color. I used it for a week with the silver accent nail and then I repainted using only that and I have been touching up since then. I am obsessed.

BOOKS:

In June I stared to read The Host by Stephanie Meyer. I watched the movie when it came out and then I bought the book but never got around to reading it. I had a Twilight movie marathon with some friends at the end of May and decided to take this out and read it since I loved her Twilight Saga. I am planning to do a book review when I am finished so watch out for that!

SKINCARE:

I have been loving my Revlon Illuminate Skin Renewal System Face Cleanser brush. I have been using it every morning and every night. I have a review of this posted already so go check that out if you want.

ORGANIZATION:

I had this shelf sitting around with nothing on it and I was sick of having all of my lotions and body sprays just sitting in baskets where I couldn't see what I had so I took them out and put them on this shelf and it works amazingly. On the first shelf I have my body sprays, the second shelf I have my perfumes, the third shelf I have my face masks, moisturizers, first aid kit and hand sanitizers and on the forth shelf I have my lotions. I love this set up because I can see everything and use it more because I don't have to dig through it to see what I have and I have enough room to add more if I decide to buy more products in the future.

PEOPLE:

I loved Caitlyn Jenner on the cover of Vanity Fair. I think she's incredible for putting herself out there in the spotlight like that. I know there are people who don't agree with what she did and that's fine. Everyone has a right to their opinion but I personally think it's great.

I also loved Ingrid Nilsen's coming out video on YouTube. I have been a subscriber of hers for a long time and did not see that coming at all but I am so proud of her for doing it on her own terms and when she was ready.

T.V. SHOWS:

In June Pretty Little Liars and The Fosters had their Summer premieres on ABC Family. I love both shows and so far the episodes have been great. Pretty Little Liars has been more on the dark side so far and I'm just looking forward to finally getting some answers! The Fosters has been sweet and family oriented and I can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store.

NETFLIX:

(SPOILERS DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED SEASON THREE OF ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK AND DON'T WANT TO KNOW AHEAD OF TIME)

Orange Is The New Black premiered Season Three on Netflix after a long YEAR wait. I have to say I was very disappointed with this season. Not one episode made me think "OMG that did not just happen". I didn't think there were any outstanding storylines this season at all which kinda sucks. I did however like the backstories. It's fun to see the prisoners before they were in jail and what lead them to being arrested. I did like those and then there were little scenes here and there that I liked such as Morello getting married and Bennett proposing to Daya. While on the subject of Bennett.... WTF! WHERE DID YOU GO? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? Horrible story there for me personally.

That's all for my June Favs, I hope you enjoyed.

Walmart Haul

About a week ago, I made am online purchase from Walmart and went a little overboard. Here are the things that I purchased. Enjoy!

I got some more Head & Shoulders Almond Oil shampoo. This kind is by far my favorite. I also needed some body wash, so I got the Softsoap Citrus Splash & Berry Fusion. It smells soooo good, it's like the blue slushy. I needed some shaving cream and I have been wanting to try the eos brand so I got one in Vanilla Bliss. It smells amazing. I will probably do a product review on this once I have used it a few times. I have been wanting to get a spot treatment so I decided to get the Olay Spot Zinger. I will also do a product review on this as well. I got some Wild Cherry Blossom deodorant because I am needing some more and this one smells so good. I love Suave deodorants the best. I also needed some more face cleanser so I decided to try the Olay foaming face wash. I will do a review on this at some point as well. I also got some Crest tooth paste with Scope.

I got two Nivea products. I got the Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel Cream Kiss and it smells soooo amazing. OMG! I also got the Nivea Kiss of Moisture because I thought it would be good for my lips in this hot summer weather. I also saw these Baby Lips Lip glosses. I am not sure if they are new but I haven't seen them before. I got two of them to try in Tickled Pink and Berry Chic. They smell so good and seem to be very moisturizing. I have swatches below.

Berry Chic is a nude color lip gloss and Tickled Pink has a light pink tint.

I got a box of my favorite tea K Cups. The Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast Black Tea.

I also picked out some socks. There are 6 pairs and each sock is different so you can fix and match them. I thought they were so cool and just had to have them.

Then I went crazy with nail polish. I got four Essie polishes, my all time favorite brand as of now. The polishes I got were In The Cab-ana, Aruba Blue, Blossom Dandy and Mint Candy Apple. I also got the Essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat. I also finally got the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat and I got another of the polishes in Hydro-Electric.

Last but not least, I made a last minute trip into Walmart and got all of these treasures, as if I didn't have enough already. HAHA!

I got some more Cotton Rounds, I picked up three of the one or two use face masks to try. I got the Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask, the Avocado & Oatmeal Clay Mask and the Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask. I also picked up two of the NYC Long Wearing nail polishes (I mean for .93 who would pass that up?!!!) I got Wine Bar and Skyline Blue. From the clearance section for $2 I picked up a Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Pink Me up. Also for $2 in the clearance section I picked up two of the Rimmel London Keep Calm and Lip Gloss glosses. I got Keep Calm and Love in Crystal Clear and Keep Calm and Kiss in Berry Blush. They both smell really sweet, almost like bubble gum. I had never seen or heard of them so I decided to pick them up and try them out. I have swatches below. The last thing I picked up were some ribbon elastics. I have been wanting to try them out but haven't found them any place I have gone.

Baby Lips Pink Me Up is the first one and it just has a light pink tint to it. The Rimmel London in Berry Blush is the middle swatch and it just has a slight tint to it, the Rimmel London Crystal Clear is the bottom swatch, and like the name it's clear but it has a light shine to it.

I can't wait to try all of these products out and get some reviews up for you guys.

Thanks for reading :)
