Vera Bradley Haul

Last week I made an online purchase at verabradley.com. I love the colors and designs of the purses and wallets. They are by far my favorite bags. They can be costly though so I usually only make a purchase when there is a sale or when I get an email for a percentage off. Here are the things that I ordered. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

This is the wallet that matches the purse I got I believe a month or so ago. It's in the pattern Flower Shower and it's the turn lock wallet. I love it. When you open it up there are multiple credit card slots, two ID slots and a pocket. There is also a zippered part with more credit card slots, two pockets and a divider. The back also has a coin zipper. It so spacious and can hold so much stuff.

This is the medium tablet sleeve in Lola. I got this for my Kindle because the other holder I had was getting so worn and old. I like this one because I have the original Kindle and it fits in this sleeve with extra room so that if I ever need to buy a new Kindle I won't have to buy a sleeve for it because this is plenty big enough.

The last thing I got in this order was the tech wristlet in Provencal. I got this to keep my IPOD in. I have the 4th generation touch and it fits in this case perfectly as long as there isn't a case on it. That's the only downfall with this wristlet is that it's not long enough to hold my IPOD if it has a case on it but that's not a big deal for me.

So that's my Vera Bradley haul. Thanks for reading :)

Face Mask Review

Today's blog is a little different. I am doing a review of the face masks that I currently have. I love doing at home face masks. I do them a  couple times a week. All of the full size masks I got from Ulta for $3.99 which isn't a bad price at all. The mini Boscia I got as a 100 point pick from Sephora.

This is the Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque with natural English clay. It says it's old-fashioned, time-tested treatment. It softens lines and tightens sagging skin. It's also a pore cleanser which is always a good thing. You cleanse your face, apply the mask, wait 15 minutes for the mask to harden and then remove with warm water and a cloth. The mask comes out of the tube a light brown color. I love this mask. When I use it my skin feels so smooth and clean and it just looks more healthy.

This is the Freeman Facial Revealing Peel-Off Mask in Pomegranate. It refines and purifies your skin. It removes dirt and excess oils. It is infused with acai, goju, mango, mangosteen, cranberry, noni and blueberry. It's perfect for all skin types. You apply it evenly to your face, leave on for 5-10 minutes or until it has dried then you gently peel it off and rinse your face with warm water. This mask comes out of the tube clear and kind of makes your face look wet. I always say that it looks like I have been working out all day! I love this mask. I think my favorite part is peeling it off my face. It's just so fun! It leaves my skin feeling and looking so amazing. It looks clear and refreshed and feels so fresh and smooth. It also smells really good.

This is the Freeman Facial Peel-Off Mask in Cucumber. It clarifies and renews your skin. This mask peels away impurities that can cause rough and dull skin. The cucumber extract and aloe help sooth while moisturizing. It is perfect for normal to combination skin. You put it evenly on your face, leave on for 5-10 minutes or until dry, then gently peel off the mask and rinse with warm water and a cloth. This is a lot like the pomegranate one. It comes out clear and makes your face look extremely wet. This mask has a cooling effect and leaves your skin feeling smooth, moisturized, fresh and clean. It also smells good.

This is the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask. It's a peel-off mask and it definitely lives up to it's name and comes out of the tube black. It helps boost skin clarity and minimizes the appearance of pores. You apply a thick even coat to your clean dry skin. Be sure to avoid eyebrows, hairline, lips, and eye area. Leave it on for 30 minutes or until it is completely dry, then gently peel off the mask from the outer edge and then rinse off the residue. I love this mask. I have only used it once but because it's so small you can probably only get two uses out of it anyway. It makes your skin smooth and clean looking. I'm not sure about the pore minimizing because I have only used it once. I hope this mask goes on sale soon because I would definitely buy it but because I have other masks I can't justify paying the $38 for it!

So that's my face mask review blog. I hope you all enjoyed it and definitely go and pick these masks up if you get the chance because they are so worth it.

Thanks for reading :)

Products I Regret Buying & Some Alternatives

So today's blog are the products that I regret buying and some alternatives that I like a lot better. This is a blog suggestion from sophayhum. Thanks for the suggestion! Check her out on Instagram and read her blog on here as well if you don't already :)

These two products are from my local Dollar Tree. The Shaving cream was watery and didn't last long. The Dermasil Labs lotion was also very watery and didn't do anything for my skin. The products were only $1 so I really shouldn't complain but it's not worth spending even $1 on something that doesn't work.

This Rite Aid Renewal Shaving gel was only $2 and it works great. It's got a thick gel consistency and makes my skin feel so smooth. I got the baby soft with baby oil one and it also smells pretty good too!

Now for the lotion. If you want to use a higher end product then I would go with the First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream. It's a thick cream and after only a few uses I can already tell a difference in the dryness of my skin. This is normally not a product that I would buy because it is quite costly. It's about $30 I believe but I got it as part of a five product set and only spent $48.

This Jergens Shea Butter lotion is a cheaper alternative. I got this at my local drug store in the travel size section and spent $1.50 I believe. It says it's good for your hands but I use it all over and it works great and smells good.

This is creamy petroleum jelly and this is also from my local Dollar Tree but this product is actually a good one. Unlike the other lotion this one is a thick cream and it does work great.

These are two candles that I got from Dollar Tree. I wouldn't recommend them at all. There is a scent when you smell them but when you are burning them there is nothing. I personally don't think that it's worth burning a candle if you can't smell it.

These are two of the Bath & Body Works candles that I have. I prefer the 3-wick candles. They smell so good even when they are burning. They can be a bit pricey but I usually buy them when they have the two for $22 or $20 sale or when they have them for $8 or $12. I have also heard that Walmart and Target sell 3-wick candles pretty cheap but I have not checked those out yet. If anyone knows if those are worth purchasing let me know.

As I've said in other blogs I have dry skin and a dry scalp and cannot use regular shampoos. This is the Rite Aid brand anti dandruff shampoo. This is only a half regret buy. This shampoo worked for a little while but then just stopped working. I think it might just be because it is a store brand and different formula. I think it's a good product to use for a few washes and then switch to something else that works better.

This is the Head & Shoulders anti dandruff shampoo. This one in particular is the Almond Oil one and it smells really good. I don't particularly like the original scented one. I think it smells like medicine. This is the only shampoo that I have found so far that works for my dry scalp and keeps my hair flake free. It can be a little pricey for a shampoo in my opinion but it is very much worth the price if you suffer from dandruff.

This toothpaste was about $3.50 when I bought it and I did not see any results. My teeth looked no different when I used this than when I use other cheaper toothpastes.

I would go with a Colgate or Crest or even a store brand. I can get a tube of toothpaste for $1 and it does the exact same thing as the 3D crest.  I got this toothpaste for $1 at Dollar Tree. Also my local Rite Aid usually has a sale on Crest or Colgate where it's $1 - $1.50 and I can always get the store brand for $1. It also is worth getting their rewards card as well.

This Ulta Amped Lashes mascara was a bad purchase in my opinion. It was $10 and it just wasn't worth it. I don't know if it's the formula or if I just got a bad one but it's so sticky and it stays that way all day. I feel like my top and bottom lashes stick together whenever I wear this mascara. I thought in the beginning that it was because it was waterproof but I have used others that were not sticky so I don't know what's going on there. Let me know if you or anyone you know has used this mascara and if the same thing happened.

This is by far my favorite mascara. It doesn't clump, it's not sticky, it makes my lashes long and dark. It's amazing and it's also cheaper than the Ulta one. I believe I got this one at Walmart for $4.99.

So that's my blog on products I regret buying and the alternatives that I prefer to use. I hope you enjoyed it and got some ideas.

Thanks for reading :)

Small Discount Store Haul

Yesterday I went to my local discount store and picked up a few things that I thought I would share with you guys. Everything I bought was only .99.
Enjoy!

I needed some conditioner and toothpaste so I picked up some White Rain Ocean Mist conditioner and Colgate Baking Soda and Peroxide toothpaste.

I picked up these two hair treatments. The first is an Argan Oil from Morocco. It says it's an intense deep conditioning hair treatment and it strengthens, restores and smooths dry, damaged hair. The second one is a Keratin Protein. It says it's a smoothing deep conditioner and it softens and prevents breakage in weak, damaged hair.

I also go these three single use face masks. I have used quite a few of these and I really like them but these are three that I haven't used yet. The first one is a mint chocolate chip with peppermint oil and cocoa. It says it's a refreshing and tingly moisturizing treatment. The second one is creamy coconut with coconut water and shea butter. It says it's a hydrating vitality boost for tired skin. The third one  is a clean-up mud mas with aloe vera and willow. It says it's made with aloe juice for blemish prone skin. All three masks are from the brand Montagne Jeunesse.

The final product I bought was yet another nail polish. (Like I need anymore!) This is a Julie G polish in the shade Fred. I believe I watched a YouTube video with Lindsey Hughes saying that Julie G is a YouTuber who came out with her own nail polish line but I am not 100% sure.

So that's all for this blog. I can't wait to use these products and do future reviews on them so stay tuned.

Thanks for reading :)

Empties February 2015

So today's blog are all the products that I have used up. My EMPTIES! There are quite a few products so I decided that I'm going to just list the products and then tell you guys whether I would recommend them and why. I hope you enjoy looking at all my trash!!!

I used up all of my holiday scented candles. Most of them were from last year so I wanted to use them up and start fresh this coming holiday season. They are mostly Bath & Body Works candles except for two that I got from Dollar Tree.

Holiday
Twisted Peppermint
Fresh Sparkling Snow
Fresh Balsam

I am definitely going to buy Fresh Balsam & Holiday or something similar to them next time around because I love the smell of them and they are exactly what I think of what I think of Christmas and winter scents. The Fresh Sparking Snow is my new favorite and I really hope that they bring it back this coming season. I am over the Twisted Peppermint scent so that one I will not repurchase unless it's a mini candle.

Pine
Vanilla Bean Noel
Fresh Balsam
Black Cherry

The two in the middle are Bath & Body Works mini candles. I bought them when I was first testing out holiday scents and fell in love with the Fresh Balsam so that's why I had to have the 3 wick candle. I might consider buying a larger Vanilla Bean Noel. The two candles on the end are from Dollar Tree and even though they were only $1 I won't buy them again. They don't have a scent while they are burning so you're just sitting there starring at a flame.

Suave Professionals Conditioner ~ Almond & Shea Butter. For dry, damaged hair
Herbal Essences body wash ~ Body Burst with Citrus
Rite Aid Renewal Dandruff Shampoo ~ Classic Clean

The conditioner and body wash were good. They smelled amazing and when it comes to those two products I usually just get what Is on sale and smells good on the day that I need to purchase them. The shampoo was ok. It doesn't have the best smell but I need to use an anti dandruff shampoo because my scalp is very sensitive. It worked for a little while but then I had to go back to my Head & Shoulders because apparently that Is the only shampoo that works for me.

Aveeno Ultra Calming Make Up Removing Wipes
Essence Brow Gel
Glacial Clay Mask ~ Real clay, arctic cloudberry & red grape
Bath & Body Works HandiBac Hand Sanitizer ~ White Citrus

The Aveeno make up removing wipes I used on my face once and broke out so I just used those to wipe swatches off my hands. They seemed very fragrance-y to me and my skin is just too sensitive for that. I love the Essence Brow Gel. That had made it into a favorites blog and I believe I have mentioned it more than once in other blogs. The clay mask I liked. It made my skin feel so smooth after I used it. I would definitely buy more of them if I come across them again. I believe I got this one for only $1 at Big Lots. The HandiBac I have had for so long and honestly was just glad to be done with it. I have another one of the foaming hand sanitizers that I am trying to use up as well. I don't believe that they even sell this kind anymore. Correct me if I am wrong. (I haven't seen them in a while)

Assured Shaving Cream ~ Raspberry
Dermasil Labs ~ Dry skin treatment original lotion
Crest 3D White Toothpaste ~ Radiant Mint

The shaving cream and lotion I won't buy again. I got them from Dollar Tree and although I have used similar products that worked well, these two were watery and just didn't really do anything so I would just rather use my $1 and buy one of the other products that do work. The toothpaste was ok. I didn't notice any changes in my teeth so I would only buy this again if it was really cheap on sale otherwise I will stick to the cheap store brand or other cheap toothpaste that does the same exact thing.

These last  few products are sample sizes. I got them all in Walmart Beauty Boxes.

L'OREAL Oleo Therapy Hair Expertise Sulfate Free System Conditioner
Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture for Fine, Flat Hair Shampoo
Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture for Fine, FLat Hair Conditioner
Dove Pure Care Dry Oil for Hair ~ African Macadamia Oil nourishing hair treatment

These were all good products. The shampoo and conditioners smelled amazing and I would definitely buy the conditioner if it is ever on sale. I am not sure what the hair oil was suppose to do and I didn't see any changes in my hair but it smelled really good and it lasted quite a while given it's small size.

So that's all for my first EMPTIES blog.
Hope you all enjoy your day. Thanks for reading :)

Hair Accessories & Tools Collection

This is my hair accessories & tools collection Blog. This is going to be on the shorter side because I really don't do all that much with my hair. I will say that I haven't had a trim in years so my split ends are out of control and I really need to have them taken care of ASAP!

I have a headband that I use when I wash my face or use a face mask to keep my hair away from my face. I keep all of my hair elastics in a Deborah Lippman nail polish bag that I got with a nail polish duo. Then I just have some hair clips and butterfly clips and an elastic headband that I never use.

I use Aussie Hair Insurance whenever I Blow dry or curl my hair. I use Vaseline around my hairline whenever I dye my hair.

I use a Conair blow dryer and a Conair curling iron. I love them both. The blow dryer is a Cobalt blue and the curing iron is a lilac purple but you can't tell from the picture. I keep my blow dryer, curling iron & Aussie Hair Insurance in this hair accessory caddy by Polder.

That's it for my VERY short hair accessories & tools collection but I hope you still enjoyed it!

Perfume Collection

Today's Blog is my perfume collection. I want to start by saying I'm sorry for the way the pictures came out. I took them on my perfume tray and there is a glare that I didn't notice until I posted them and I am too lazy to take them again. From now on I will continue to use my blue blanket background! Enjoy!!!

This is my whole perfume collection and how I store it.

These are my favorite perfumes. My three Taylor Swift scents.
Wonderstruck, Taylor, Enchanted Wonderstruck.
I am still trying to get my hands on her new Incredible Things perfume but they are still sold out at the store that I want to get it at :(

These are other celebrity fragrances I have.
Britney Spears Curious & Fantasy. I got these years ago as Christmas presents but I still love them.
Jessica Simpson - I Fancy You
Paris Hilton - Just Me. This was a  birthday present years ago. I am half way through the bottle and it's actually a pretty scent.

These are two random fragrances that I have.
Victoria's Secret Simply Because For Her. This was a birthday present a few years ago from one of my sisters.
Love Sexy City. This is a random perfume that I got for $10 because it kind of reminded me of Sex And The City. HAHA!

These are three of the mini Bath & Body Works perfumes.
Forever Red Vanilla Rum, Forever Midnight, Forever Red. I got Forever Red because it came out around the time that Taylor Swift's Red album came out and I'm obsessed with her so I just had to get it and then I just had to get the other Forever scents naturally. HAHA! I do love these perfumes though so that's a plus!

So that's my perfume collection. I hope you enjoyed it.

Body Mist Collection

Hey Guys!

Today's Blog is my body mist collection. Most of them are Bath & Body Works. I am only going to list the fragrances on the bottom of each picture because there are quite a few. If anyone wants any of the key notes leave a comment and I will be more than happy to let you know what those are. Enjoy!

These are full size body mists from Bath & Body works. They are listed from left to right...
Paris Amour (My all time favorite)
Sweet Pea
Be Enchanted
Velvet Sugar
Twisted Peppermint (I only use this around Christmas time)

The first two are Bath & Body Works. The last three are from Simple Pleasures and part of a five piece holiday set. (Two of them I put away for a future giveaway) These are listed left to right.
Secret Wonderland
Sun Ripened Raspberry (An old favorite of mine that they no longer make so I use sparingly!)
Raspberry Frosting
Toasted Cookie
Strawberry Cream

These are my travel size Bath & Body Works body mists. The first two are Victoria's Secret body mists that I got from one of my sisters for Christmas. These are also listed from left to right.
Mango Temptation
Aqua Kiss
Paris Amour
Be Enchanted
Velvet Sugar
Twilight Woods
Sweet Pea
Winter Candy Apple
Vanilla Bean Noel

So that's my body mist collection. I love all of them and use them very regularly (just not at the same time!)

Skin Care & Moisturizers Collection

Hello Everyone!

Today's Blog is my skin care & moisturizers collection. This is my favorite part of my whole collection because I love doing face masks and moisturizing! I really hope you enjoy this Blog and get lots of ideas.

These are my face masks. I could totally own 100 of these because I love them so much but I hold myself back because I can obviously only use one at a time! I got the three big masks from Ulta and the Boscia mini face mask I got with my 100 points from Sephora.

The pink mask is Freeman's Pomegranate Facial Revealing Peel Off Mask. It goes on clear and kind of makes you look like you are really sweaty! It smells so good. I leave it on for about 20 minutes and then peel it off, cleanse my face & then moisturize and my skin feels amazing. The green mask is also Freeman's and it's a Cucumber Facial Peel Off Mask and it works the same as the Pomegranate one. The white mask is Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque. It goes on a light brown color and I do the same thing with the mud mask that I do with the others expect I wash it off instead of peeling it off. The Boscia Luminating Black Mask goes on black and as with the peel off masks I do the same thing and then peel it off. This is definitely my new favorite mask and I even included it in my January favorites Blog so check that one out as well.

These are my other face products. The Simple Make up remover pads I use to remove my waterproof mascara and they work great and are so gentle on my eyes. The Olay make up remover wipes I just use to wash swatches off my hands. They have a fragrance smell so I am afraid to put them on my face because I always seem to get a rash or break out whenever I use anything with fragrance in it. I also have the Yes to Cucumbers wipes but I have not tried these yet. Look for a Blog review of those in the future! Then I have the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. I use one of these every night before I moisturize and I love them.

These are my lotions and moisturizers. I use the Creamy Petroleum Jelly & First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream for the dry skin I have on my knees, feet & elbows. I have been doing some research because I heard that petroleum is not good for you so I may throw that out and stop using petroleum jelly all together. The two Jergens lotions are a Shea Butter & and an Ultra Healing lotion and those I use on my hands because I work with my hands a lot for my job and the chemicals are harsh on my skin. The Simple moisturizer is my all time favorite moisturizer. It's so light and gentle on my face. The Eucerin moisturizer is what I am using right now and is a cheaper mositruizer when I can't find the Simple one on sale. These are the only two moisturizers that I have found that I have been able to use on my face without breaking out or getting a rash. The BB lotion I haven't used yet. I got that one in my Winter Walmart Beauty Box but I am looking forward to trying it out in the future.

The last of the products are just some random little pieces that I put together. The first is Nair Face Cream. This I use on my mustache when I notice hair coming in. I am too much of a wimp to use wax and this works very well for me. The only downfall is that it smells like rotten eggs but that is worth it to me as long as I don't have to use wax!!! The next product is the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy which I haven't tried yet but I am looking forward to trying it out. The Boscia make up break up cool cleansing oil is for removing face makeup but I actually use it just as a cleansing oil because I don't really use face makeup and the oil just makes my skin feel so nice. The last product is the E.L.F. Zit Zapper. I just used this recently because I had a small break out but I haven't used it enough to give it a review so look for that in a future Blog.

That's all for today's Blog. I hope it gives you ideas of products to try and if there are any products that you like make sure to leave suggestions for me.

Thanks for reading :)

Eye Shadow, Mascara, Eyeliner, Brows & Tools Collection

Hey Guys!

Today's Blog is my eye collection. This includes my eye shadows, mascara, eyeliner, brow gel & eye tools. I hope you enjoy it!

This is my eye shadow collection. I don't have a lot I am working on expanding this part of my collection.

These two palettes are from L.A. Colors & I got them from my local Dollar Tree. The one on the left is a 12 color palette in Trendy and the one on the left is a 6 color palette called Haute. They are both nude palettes which is what I go to for my eye shadow. These palettes are good for the price. Most of the colors are pretty pigmented but there is some fall out.

These two palettes are my E.L.F. Custom Compacts. I love these. The compacts are $1 and each of the eye shadows were  $1 a piece as well. They are very pigmented and last me all day at work. The first swatch picture is for the compact on the left and the second picture is for the compact on the right. The last two colors are the same because that is my favorite shade so I wanted to make sure I had a backup!

Peach Fuzz, Driftwood, Truly Pink, Taupe

Wheat, Moondust, Pink Ice, Pink Ice

The eye shadow on the left is an E.L.F. eye shadow duo in Butter Pecan. The NARS is Laguna and it's actually a bronzing powder but I use it as an eye shadow because I love the color but I don't put makeup on my face because my skin is so sensitive I break out. So that's also why I will not have foundation or blush in my makeup collection either.

These are all of my mascaras. I love mascara and if there was only one makeup item that I could choose to have this is what I would choose. I wear mascara everyday no matter what I am doing or where I am going. I love how dark and long it makes my lashes and all of my mascara is black.

Essence - I Love Extreme Crazy Volume
Essence - I love Crazy Volume
Maybelline - Great Lash
Maybelline - Real Impact by Great Lash
Maybelline - The Colossal Volum' Express Cat Eyes

Covergirl - Bombshell Curvaceous by Lash Blast
Covergirl - Flamed Up Mega Curl (Hunger Games Edition)
Wet N Wild - Mega Volume
Wet N Wild - Mega Length
Ulta - Amped Lashes
Marc Jacobs Mascara

The last two pictures are my eye tools and brow gel as well as my eyeliner.

E.L.F. Mineral Eyeliner in black. This is the only liner I have because I like the automatic pens (I think that's what they are called) and I just threw out a few of my older liners that I have had for years. I am working on getting my liners back but I don't wear it all the time so I'm in no rush. HAHA. Then I just have my Covergirl tweezers. Then I have my E.L.F. & Essence Brow Gels.  The E.L.F. one I won't buy again only because I don't like how stiff the wand is. I love the Essence Brow Gel though. Last but not least I have my E.L.F. Makeup Remover pen which I also love and it was featured in my January favorites Blog so check that out as well :)

These are the last of my tools. I have the E.L.F. Contour Brush but I actually use it as my eye shadow brush. I am looking for some different inexpensive eye shadow brushes so if anyone knows of any good ones let me know either by leaving a comment here or on my Instagram. Then I have my E.L.F. Eyelash Curler and my Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

So that concludes my makeup collection Blogs. I am going to start on my skin care, fragrances, nail polish, etc collections so be sure to watch out for those in the coming weeks.  Thanks for reading :)
